Moose can swim? Not only can they swim, they can go as fast as 6 mph.

Moose are great runners? They can clock in at 35 mph!

Algonquin Tribe named Moose after their word "moos" or "mus"
which means " animal that strips bark off of trees".

Moose are part of the Deer family?

male moose, called bulls, grow new antlers every year and shed them in late Fall
or early winter?

male antlers can grow as large as 82' wide? That's 6 feet, 10 inches wide!

Moose can attack trains, cars, horses, dogs and people but run from a swarm of
black flies?

Moose are not a herd animal, but rather, loners? That they do not hibernate?

they are the largest "ungulate" in the Deer family. Latin name "Alces
Alces".
