North American Moose Foundation

Mission Statement:
Promote the species, educate the public, conserve habitat, and promote hunting and viewing moose.

NAMF President, Justin Salisbury, met with (Wyoming) Governor Freudenthal recently to make introductions and discuss how NAMF could assist the state of Wyoming in efforts of conservation of wildlife habitat.

The current declining moose population in areas of Wyoming is a growing concern. NAMF has fixated on the matter and is working diligently with appropriate personnel to be part of a solution to this issue.

Salisbury had mentioned in the meeting with Gov. Freudenthal, "I cannot begin express the desire I have to conserve for today, tomorrow, and beyond. I like to think that the people of Wyoming share this same passion, so it is only fitting that NAMF step in and do our part to make sure that happens."
